About the event
Nab & Grab
Build it, decorate it, then put it to work! In this quick hands-on class, you’ll assemble a Nabber Grabber, a playful scissor-action mechanism that stretches outward to nab, grab, and pick things up.
You’ll get to explore the basics of mechanical and kinetic art while putting together a simple pre-cut kit, then make it your own with alcohol-based markers and optional decorations. It’s an easy, satisfying introduction to making things that move.
The project takes about 30 minutes, so it’s perfect for jumping in, making something clever, and having a little fun.
No experience needed. Just build, color, extend… and GRAB.
You’re also welcome to stick around afterward and hang out.
